Little Image-Bearers is a faith-based children’s show made with the understanding that we were created in the image of God. Children will be entertained, educated, and drawn closer to God through these simple yet fun episodes.

Mr. Phipps comes through the door with a smile and something fun to explore. Look forward to meeting interesting people from around the community, trying a new craft project and pondering the lessons learned by a comical cast of make-believe characters.

Before saying good-bye for the day, Mr. Phipps brings all the activities together with a Bible reading. Understanding of who God is and of our relation to Him will grow with every visit on Little Image-Bearers.


EPISODES

Episode 201: Important Introductions

Episode 1 is the first of five lessons on who is God. In order to get to know someone, we must start with an introduction. 

In this episode, Mr. Phipps introduces a new puppet character, as well as his brother. Mr. Phipps is later introduced to a talented french horn musician and performs a fascinating science project called liquid stacking. In puppet pretend, Bobo Bear finds a bench made for him, but he must begin a journey to find the creator of the bench. 

Episode 202: God: The Creator

Episode 2 continues on the topic of who God is. The very first time we read of God in the Bible, we discover that God is the Creator.

In this episode, Mr. Phipps gets creative with wood. He also shares a video of a blacksmith being creative with metal. Later, a neighbor friend stops by to play a wood stacking game called Ta-Ka-Radi. In puppet pretend, Bobo Bear’s search for the creator of the bench leads him to Mom Redhead’s lab and her latest invention. 

Episode 203: God: Here With Us

Episode 3 carries on the discussion of who God is by first answering the question, where is God? Even though we may not be able to see God, He is here with us.

In this episode, Mr. Phipps makes a secret message with invisible ink. Later, a friend visits to demonstrate her talent of balloon bending. In puppet pretend, Bobo Bear needs to talk to Lala Redhead about the mysterious bench. But first, he must find her, which proves to be more difficult than expected once camouflage is involved.

Episode 204: God: The Father

Episode 4 dives deeper into who God is. In the Lord’s prayer, Jesus teaches us to talk to God as our Father; not only is He our Father, but he is a good Father.

In this episode, Mr. Phipps visits his dad on the job site, then he heads home to play marbles with his daughter. In puppet pretend, the search for the maker of the bench begins to draw to a close. All of the clues lead Bobo Bear to Dad Redhead, who at the moment is up in a tree.

Episode 205: God is Love

Episode 5 is the final episode on who God is. God is love, and He demonstrates His love in many ways: by providing, by protecting, and ultimately by giving His only Son in exchange for us.

In this episode, Mr. Phipps is fascinated by a vintage cash register, leading him to visit the farm store to see how new cash registers work. Once there, he discusses adoption and love with a neighbor friend. Mr. Phipps also creates a special card for someone close to his heart. In puppet pretend, Bobo Bear gives up on searching for who made the bench and turns his attention to showing love to others. Of course, that’s easier said than done when it comes to Aunt Gertrude. In the end, will he find out who made the bench for him?

Episode 206: Jesus: Son of God

Episode 6 is the first lesson on who Jesus is. Jesus is the beloved Son of God, and God made sure everyone knew it.

In this episode, after looking at many pictures of parents and their children, Mr. Phipps decides to visit his midwife friend at a birthing center. In puppet pretend, Bobo Bear and his puppet friends play out a dramatic tale involving a king, a prince, a fair lady, and a dragon. Prince Bobo Bear is sent on a dangerous journey to save the Fair Lady Lala from the dragon.

Episode 207: Jesus: The King

Episode 7 continues exploring who Jesus is. Jesus is the King of Kings – a good king, a loving king, and a forgiving king.

In this episode, Mr. Phipps shows off a gold crown, then creates his own crown out of paper. Not satisfied with just a crown, Mr. Phipps visits the wardrobe department of a movie studio to play dress up. In puppet pretend, Prince Bobo journeys deep into the forest in search of Fair Lady Lala.

Episode 208: Jesus: Our Friend

Episode 8 teaches us more about who Jesus is. We are no longer slaves or servants; Jesus is our friend. He loves us, trusts us, and wants to spend time with us.

In this episode, Mr. Phipps looks at various types of keys: one to unlock a clock, one to unlock a padlock, and one to unlock the front door of his friend’s house. He needs to check up on the house and dogs while his friends are away. Before he goes, he loses the key, prompting him to create a keychain so that doesn’t happen again. In puppet pretend, Prince Bobo has to figure out how to get past the guard to the dragon’s lair.   

Episode 209: Jesus: The Savior

Episode 9 gives yet another insight into who Jesus is. Jesus didn’t come to punish us or condemn us, but to save us and set us free.

In this episode, Mr. Phipps visits an EMT to discuss life-saving measures in emergency situations. In puppet pretend, Prince Bobo must get the key from the dragon to free Fair Lady Lala. Despite Bobo’s best efforts, confrontation with the dragon is inevitable. After Bobo’s display of courage, Mr. Phipps decides to create his own sword using household items.

Episode 210: Jesus: The Way

Episode 10 is the final episode on who Jesus is. If we want to find the way to heaven and to the Father, we must know and follow Jesus – the only way.

In this episode, Mr. Phipps demonstrates how to use a compass. He also creates a compass using a needle and magnet. Feeling the need for an adventure, Mr. Phipps decides to visit a corn maze. In an epic end to the puppet pretend saga, Prince Bobo faces down the dragon while the others follow the compass to the king. Will Bobo defeat the dragon?
